COVID-19 Policy

Coral Coast Skin Pty Ltd (ABN 87 636 007 291), trading as Kaleidoscope Skin Cancer Clinic (KSC) is committed to reducing the risk and spread of COVID-19. Our COVID-safe policies and procedures cover topics such as hygiene and etiquette, sterilisation of equipment, general housekeeping, referral for testing and disease surveillance.

We conduct COVID-19 screening of all staff members before each shift, and of all patients upon their arrival. This risk assessment may include, but is not limited to:

• Taking your temperature
• Sanitising your hands before entering reception
• Answering a short questionnaire about your wellbeing and recent travel history

Staff who are unwell are required to stay at home and follow Government testing recommendations. Patients who are unwell are advised to contact the clinic to reschedule their appointment.

Where social distancing is not possible during the provision of medical care, appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) is worn by staff. Staff may also ask patients to wear PPE. We aim to schedule appointments to ensure safe social distancing is maintained. In busy periods, we may ask you to wait in your vehicle until the doctor is ready to see you.

By booking an appointment at KSC you are agreeing to comply with our COVID-safe procedures, as well as requests from KSC staff. We appreciate your patience at this difficult time. Given the ever-evolving nature of the pandemic and ongoing changes to Government regulations, we reserve the right to amend our COVID-19 policies and procedures at any time, without notice.
